About Local Management
What does Local Management do?
Local Management is a Dutch corporate services and trust office, providing company formation, domiciliation, director, and administrative support to businesses incorporated in the Netherlands.
How long has Local Management been operating, and how many clients has it served?
Local Management has worked with over 325 clients since 2010.
What makes Local Management different from other corporate service providers?
Local Management is management-owned and boutique in structure. Cclients work directly with experienced, dedicated professionals rather than being routed through a large back office.
Who will I actually be working with at Local Management?
Clients are assigned a named point of contact from our management team and dedicated and experienced professionals, depending on the services required, will support you for the duration of the relationship.
Regulation & Compliance
Is Local Management regulated?
Yes. Local Management operates under a license from De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and is supervised as a Dutch trust office.
What is the Wtt 2018?
The Wet toezicht trustkantoren 2018 (Wtt 2018) is the Dutch law governing trust offices. It sets the licensing, due-diligence, and ongoing-supervision requirements Local Management operates under.
What does DNB supervision mean in practice?
It means Local Management is subject to ongoing regulatory oversight, including requirements around client due diligence, source-of-funds checks, and reporting. The same framework that applies to all licensed Dutch trust offices.
Why do you need to run compliance and KYC checks on me and my company?
As a DNB-licensed trust office, Local Management is legally required to verify the identity, ownership structure, and source of funds of every client, before and during the relationship. This applies to all licensed providers, not just us.
Onboarding & KYC
How long does client onboarding typically take?
Onboarding — from KYC review to a client being fully set up — typically takes up to two weeks.
What are the steps from first contact to having my company incorporated?
The process runs through four stages: first contact and scoping, a fee proposal, client onboarding and KYC, and incorporation.
What documents will I need to provide?
The documents required depend on your ownership structure and the entity being set up. These are confirmed individually once we understand your situation, rather than following one fixed checklist.
What happens during the KYC review?
We verify your identity, the ownership and control structure of your company, and the source of funds involved, in line with Wtt 2018 requirements.
